Hello! I am Rafi and I excel in web copywriting and storytelling. My writing style is minimalist and research-based.
My first work out of the University of the Philippines was a concept developer for StarCinema. Then, I went into corporate, analyzing data, under Thomson-Reuters then went back to working for local mainstream media. I became a writer and segment producer for Matanglawin – an award winning adventure-education TV program for children. I had my eyes set on becoming an Executive Producer but I came to a crossroad.
I had to set my passion aside to help with the family’s food business, in which I found myself training and educating new hires and arranging learning opportunities for our employees. Although out of my element, I learned a lot of valuable insights in business management inside-out.
With my strong background on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and my history working in media, I have been writing for brands for 14 years.
